Walpy is a pretty interesting wallpaper app for couple of reasons.
First, it’s got quite a fresh load of unique and new wallpapers that I don’t see in other commonly known apps.
Second, I love the categorization that they’ve created. Its quite uniquely named and resonate very well with the way photographers take and organize their pictures.
There are some interesting settings in here too that might get you a bit interested. You can set wallpaper to change automatically when certain conditions are met. You can set it to change after every 12 hours if none of the condition below are met. Or you could add one or all of these conditions and have your wallpaper changed randomly. You can set the randomize timer by tapping here and deciding the interval period. And you can also set the blur levels.
If you’re not a fan of the dark theme, you can also switch over to the dark side!
Wallpapers can be directly set from within the app or you can save the wallpaper to the device and apply later.
Hermit – Lite Apps Browser

First up is Hermit, which can replace your large native apps with Web-based Lite Apps. For example, Facebook app is a 50MB installation and can easily take about 190 MB on your phone after installation. This entire experience could be replaced by a simple web-based lite app that Hermit creates for you right on your homescreen and it’s just a 3MB installation and 34 MB after installation.
You could do this for a variety of applications and not just social media. (Go through list).
You also get to set individual preferences of how you want to experience these apps on your phone.
The theme, the font and the font size. You can also go for full screen experience which is more like an app. Go into night mode for a more cozy night time reading & even enable reader mode thaht gives you access to various reading styles. There are more customizations. Just go through all preferences that you can set for each individual lite app that you create through Hermit. It stays that way for that app specifically which is brilliant.
So I can have a dark theme based Facebook experience but a light theme based instagram experience. You can also set privacy preferences like block ads, pop ups, 3rd party cookies and also disable tracking.
The free version is ad-free for 3 lite apps while the premium version which gives you full access for unlimited apps is $4.99.
